Sunny Chen, Senior Manager
Sunny brings nearly three decades of diverse professional experience to our team, including a robust background in finance and commercial real estate investment. With almost 20 years in the financial industry and approaching a decade dedicated to real estate ventures, Sunny has developed a keen understanding of market dynamics and investment strategies. She holds the prestigious CCIM designation for commercial real estate investments.
Always eager to lend a helping hand and contribute value to those around her, Sunny embodies a philosophy of altruism.
Beyond her professional achievements, Sunny is a wife, mother, and passionate pickleball player. She is an avid reader, constantly seeking new knowledge, and thrives on challenges that foster personal growth.
Her highest ambition is to create a lasting legacy, evidenced by both the values she instills in others and the tangible assets she helps to build.
Jude Corr, Acquisition Manager
Originally from Philadelphia and now based in Tampa, Jude serves as an Acquisition Manager at Apex, focusing on real estate investments across the Tri-State area (Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and Delaware) and Central Florida (Tampa and Orlando).
Before joining Apex, Jude spent several years in commercial real estate brokerage, specializing in industrial properties. This experience provided a strong foundation in market analysis, deal sourcing, and relationship management.
With deep familiarity in both core markets, Jude brings a strategic, relationship-driven approach to identifying and executing new opportunities. Outside of work, he enjoys golfing, fishing, traveling to visit family across Europe, and exploring new restaurants.
Francis Nguyen, Acquisition Specialist
Francis’s path into Real Estate began with a passion for people. With a background in hospitality and over 5 years of experience of working in Real Estate, he developed a deep appreciation for service, connection and understanding people’s needs. He learned early on that genuine connection and transparency can transform everyday interactions into meaningful relationships.
Throughout his career, Francis has led teams in sourcing, evaluating, and acquiring investment opportunities, with a relationship focused approach. He believes that the foundation of every successful deal is built on trust, integrity, collaboration and creating a winning solution for all parties involved.
Outside of real estate, Francis thoroughly enjoys spending time with his family, staying active through hiking, sports and traveling. Pursuits that keep him grounded, inspired, and connected to new perspectives. His commitment to personal growth mirrors his professional mission: to build meaningful connections and create long-term value for people and communities alike.
Mary Friend,Senior Analyst
With over a decade in real estate, Mary brings a wealth of experience to our team. Beyond the numbers and transactions, she is passionately people-focused, believing that real estate isn’t just about properties; it’s about fostering meaningful connections and enriching lives.
Mary’s infectious enthusiasm and genuine interest in others have earned her a reputation for creating positive experiences throughout every step of the real estate transaction.

Mharj, Analyst
Mharj is a member of the Apex analytical team with expertise in data mining, zoning research, and property-level investigation. She has a keen eye for detail and excels in transforming complex data into strategic insights that drive successful projects. Her background includes extensive experience navigating zoning regulations to optimize project feasibility and compliance. Mharj is an expert at conducting thorough property research to assess potential and mitigate risks.
Javier Marquez , Analyst
Javier is on the front lines of our acquisitions team. He’s responsible for much of our team’s outreach. With a calm demeanor and unwavering positivity, Javier excels in initiating conversations with owners, brokers, and vendors across Florida. Originally from Barinas, Venezuela, His bilingual communication skills are invaluable across every part of the deal cycle.
